I had the same prob..even though it was just my son and I. He was becoming a little bed hog and getting wild in his sleep, so the time came. I redid his room...he is really into cars, so I decked it out (even got one of those Cars stop lights) and made a BIG to do over his "Big Boy Room"....even had company come over and make a big to do. We started reading books in his bed and then I'd lay with him til he fell asleep...been in there ever since. He still wakes up and tries to come in my room, but its not as much as it used to be. He is soooo proud of his room and even his bed that whenever someone comes over he says, "come check out my room guys" lol Hope that helped...good luck.

yeah we sometimes do that or we sometimes have my daughter fall asleep in bed with us and then just transfer her to her bed, she doesnt wake or anything and doesnt care that she's in her own bed again when she wakes up. Im abit of a soft touch though hahaha

i'm not certain as to what you have tried, but something i tried was laying down in my daughters room with her for the first couple of nights, and after she was used to sleeping in there, i started waiting till she fell asleep and then would leave her in there with her duck...(stuffed animal she can't live without)...she woke up a few times and tried to get back in our room, but she went right back to sleep in her own room....she's been there ever since....i hope this advice works for you.
