I am 31 weeks pregnant and have had this extreme pain in my lower back on my left side since I can remember! It has moved down towards my croutch area as well! It is so painful to move at all! Along with that I am dealing with my feet and ankles swelling which makes up to my lower legs itchy and irritated too! Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Nothing I have tried has worked so far!

i had the same kinda pain in my hips and crotch type area when i hit about 31-32 weeks and i found that putting and icy hot patch on my hip for about an hour before i tried to go sleep and taking warm baths just deep enough to cover my crotch helped with the pressure too

I had this pain in my 2nd and 3rd pregnancys.. with the second it was from about 30 weeks on and with the 3rd I ended getting it at 13 weeks.. it is very sore.. I wore a SI belt throughout my 3rd pregnacy.. as the previous post stated it is (spd).. you are going to have to carful how u move if ur legs are separated too much it agravates the pain.. even walking for me was horrible.. I wasnt an imediate pain all the time, somethimes it was delayed( if I did too much throught the day it would hurt before bed and through the next few days).. I would talk ot ur dr about it and see what they can suggest to help.. I ended up seeing a physiotherapist... they expained alot to me.. good luck

i had this pain too, it hurt to turn over at night in bed, open my legs to put knickers on....everything i did hurt! i sympathise it does hurt like hell. its called symphasis pubis disorder (spd) if you look it up you'll find loads on it. i was given a belt but it didnt help one bit. the only thing i could do was to constantly keep my knees together, especially in bed, hope you feel better x

Lol. Awww thats so sweet it could be just because mine are both girls or maybe my oldest has had too much "me" time and she's not getting as much now. I don't know but its so frustrating! She helps with feedings and stuff and the baby knows who she is cause she always makes her laugh. But I see what ur saying. Just be sure to def include him! That is so cute!

I am afraid that he is going to want to do everything for her and not give me a chance too! He is very over protective already that I cant believe it! When we are around other babies he really takes on the big brother roll! Hushing them when they are crying, trying to help change diapers and just being real concerned for babies! So I think that my problem will be him wanting to do to too much! But at the same time I cant wait to see his face when he sees his sister for the first time!

Mine did the same thing. Just wait until you hear those words that will break your heart..."You love her more than you love me!". I cried first time she said it, the next time I just told her to knock it off cause she knows better. Haha.

My lil boy is turning four in Aug and starting school this year! So at least I will have a lil bit of help! He is real excited to be a big brother and cant wait for her to come! Every morning he wakes up and rubs my belly and says good morning to her! He just cant understand why it is taking his lil sister so long to come! LOL! It is very cute!

Lol. It's not a problem I haven't had anyone to talk to about mine either! So it's great! The first few months do go alot faster than others but those are the best times, mine is starting to laugh and baby talk I love it!!! My heart melts every time I see both of my girls together. How old is your little boy?

That is what I am worried about! My lil girl I know is going to be mouthy and what not and I dont know if I want to deal with the boyfriends either! I really wanted to just have boys! Only cause I have 5 sisters and I wanted something different! But I will love my lil girl just the same! The beginning months always seem to go quicker and that is what I hate! It is yet so close but still so far! I wouldnt mind having her a lil bit early! LOL! Thanks alot it is nice to have someone to talk to about all this!

I didn't with my first daughter either. They say every pregnancy is different and they r right. I wasn't on bedrest but I felt like I wanted to be! Lol. I was in school though from the very beginning and still going now. I never stopped and I was up at 4 am every morning! Boy was it rough, but I did it and I wouldn't change anything...except her size lol. Girls are tougher...sassy, my 5 yr old is a handful and her mouth has been popped on numerous occasions, I really wanted a boy, but she's healthy and daddy's gonna be the one cleaning his shotgun when the girls get their first boyfriend. Hahahaha!

Sometimes I dont feel like all this pain is normal! I never went through any of this with my son! He was such an easy pregnancy and labour! This lil girl seems to want to give me problems right from the start! I hope she doesnt give these much problems when she comes out! This pregnancy is the complete opposite! I have been on bedrest for the majority of my pregnancy since the beginning til now!

The last 2 months are longer than any of them! But the last couple days are the worse! I have to say I don't miss that part. I had a big baby for my frame though...she was 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long...and a big ole head 14 inches! Ahh! Lol.

Thanks ladies! My placenta is in the front with causes this to be what I call a back pregnancy! She has been turned down since seven months and I can feel her getting lower sometimes! Sleeping man I miss being able to sleep! Especially cause I am used to sleeping on my stomach! On top of all the pain I have to deal with the constant swollen feet! It is almost over but not soon enough! I cant deal with all this pain anymore! It makes me rather labour! I have been getting cramps in my stomach since yesterday too and it makes me feel like I am on my period! I am trying to bear with it but cant wait for it all to be over!

Crotch pain...that would be your pelvic bones separating in the front to make way for the baby. Its perfectly normal as painful as it is! I had it too and I accidentally bumped my pelvic bone on the counter in the bathroom when I was washing my hands and I thought I was going to hit the room! Your lower back is your sciatic nerve, the baby is pressed against your back and sitting on that nerve just right. I couldn't sleep any way except sitting up for the last 2 months of my pregnancy it was horrible! I used a hot water bottle on my back and got one of those pregnancy support belts to help hold the baby up. It helped a little with the pelvic pain too. I got mine for like $15 on ebay othewise they are like 25-60 anywhere else. It's almost over!!!

Try reiki. Its non-invasive and completely safe. My hips dislocated my entire pregnancy both times, it's the only thing that helped

Yes the pain is very similar! So I guess that there is nothing that I can do about then huh? My left hip feels like it is dislocating and my lower left bad as well! I dont think that I can take anymore pain then I wont be able to move at all!

I have the same thing and have for a while. I am being induced next week. The pain in my vagina is so BAD I have a very hard time doing anything. It feels like its coming from the inside of me. It hurts worse when I lay down on my side or when turning over. It feels like Intense muscle and bone pain. Like my muscles are being pulled so tight. I too asked my doctor about it and he said it is normal. He said that it is the pressure from the baby. I never had this pain with my first pregnancy. Is this similar to the pain UR experiencing? I have asked others about this but no one else knows what I am talking about. Good Luck with the rest of UR pregnancy.

Have you talked to your doctor about this lately? Those could be sympotoms of preeclamsia. When was the last time you had your blood pressure checked? I would call for an apoinitment if you havn't yet.
