Your body is a work in progress. You can never ruin your body beyond repair if you are aware that you want to work on it, just keep your focus and stay positive. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get some exercise in. You should definitely exercise while pregnant at least try to get in 10 minutes a day of yoga or anything that gets your body moving. Stretches are great too.

I'm 23 years old and 12 weeks pregnant, and I also was worried about "ruining" my body for a bit, but I've been reading a lot of articles online and in magazines that encourage working out even while pregnant to help you lose the pounds and not gain so much during pregnancy and after the baby is born.

Try to feel good about your body because you are forming a little miracle inside you. Don't let anyone tell you that your body is anything but beautiful. Your main goal should be to get/stay healthy, not have the "perfect" body. That is something that will follow focusing on your health.

With a positive outlook and focus on your baby's health and your own, you will do great. Good luck! :)

Dont worry about it..you will breasfeed when baby comes and you will be skinnier than ever. After that its a matter of toning up. You will have to find time to work out but dont stress about it until you are ready to excersize as the bfeeding will do it all for you the first few months. I have to say I had a better looking body afte I had baby no1 and this was due to the fact that I became stricter in my eating habits than before baby and began excersising more than I used to so the result was a leaner more toned body. Also started drinking green tea a year later after giving birth which did wonders for my healthand weight. I am now preggars with baby no2 and will have to work twice a s hard but I am not worried..lol

I agree saying such words are not acceptable.. its very serious.. but it depends on how itseant to be said.. people b saying kill yo self..not meaning for them to go do it.. it depends on how she meant it. If she was serious I think it'd be alil more disturbing. Don't you think.. idk but as long as she AMD her bby are fine there's no problem.. she's just has low self esteem.. BUT I could be wrong

Seriously... get some help. You could very well end up resenting the baby for "ruining your body" after it's born.

Thanks Dove. I just don't have time or the money. I'm working 2 jobs with a baby due any day now. Thanks anyway.

Lakota - there's no help out there. Professionals just tell you what they think you want to hear. But thanks anyways.

Thank you Letty. Very helpful. I hope I can go back to normal as fast as you did. I think things might be easier if my partner wasn't in the picture.
