I have been dancing and bouncing around for 2 days now and now every time I walk around I feel like im contracting then i sit and nothing happens.. Is it just because of me staying motivated?

Movement like walking can cause contractions. It when contractions are coming and going no matter what position your in....just be patient the baby will come when they're ready unfortunately. I felt back contractions for 2 days also when I'd walk but when they woke me up the morning when I went into labor I knew shed be in my arms soon. You just have to be patient

I should add that doing strenuous activity can bring on braxton hicks contractions too! Strenuous for some can even just be taking too long of a walk! No worries! You are already 39 wks :)

I am a mom of a 3 year old and a 1 year old. Both my labors were very different, as I think all labors are! With my first daughter, I inconsistently labored for 2 full days until I went in and they broke my water. She was born naturally 8 hrs. later. With my second daughter, I had what felt like "braxton hicks" contractions for 3 full days (felt like sharp pains in my lower abdomen that would last about 10-30 sec.) that were very inconsistent. I would have these pains anywhere from 1 every 10 minutes to none for a few hours. On the fourth morning, I woke up to more painful pains and assumed I was in labor because they were getting more intense and more consistent. I had her 6 hrs. later! What you are feeling is probably braxton hicks contractions, if they stay inconsistent. But it could definitely develop into something! :) Be patient!

When I had my son I never had a consistent contraction. Up to the minute he was born. Intervals of 30 sec up to 20 min. And my last half hour they were 10 sec apart... Even my dr was perplexed by it. I went to work because they stopped when I stopped moving so I had no clue I was actually in labor. Then ended up leaving right away because the pain as I was walking got so intense. Hang in there!

Knowing my cervix probably not.. Last time I went in it was up to high for her to reach that was last week. Going 2moro for another one and Im guessing it's gonna be the same :( I really hope not. Im really hoping that I wont have to be induced with this labor.. It caused alot more pain with my other one couldn't handle it so had the epi :( I just really would like to go into labor with out being induced.. Any suggestion?? I have pretty much tried everything that u can find on internet so im sure im out of luck.

I know, so frustrating! Especially when you have another child! Hopefully all these contractions are doing something, at least, and you will have a quick labor! That's how my second one went :)
