I am 29 weeks prego and have had a comlete loss of energy and drive to do anything. My nausea has also started to come back. I expected a loss of energy about now, but not quite this extreme. It feels like I'm back in my first trimester again.... Has anyone else had this? Any advise would be great! Thanks

Sorry to hear that you're you're not feeling the greatest. I too had the same thing happen when I was pregnant with my daughter. I "exploded" in size during the third trimester and it made it impossible to sleep. I also started getting contractions several weeks before I delivered, but the doctors couldn't do anything because I was dialating quickly. While I didn't get my "morning sickness" nausea back, I got heartburn really badly and I got nauseous if I ate certain foods or too much food.

If a certain food is making you sick, trying eliminating it (if it's something vital like a vitamin product, see if your doctor wants you to take a vitamin suplement- I couldn't handle dairy the last two trimesters without getting sick, so my doctor put me on calcium supplement). If it's a general nausea, try eating smaller but more frequent meals- it could be that the baby (which is now gaining weight and size like crazy) is just sitting right under your stomach and you can't handle the larger quantities of food like before.

As far as being exhausted- it happens- try to get as much sleep as possible. Take naps when possible, stay off of your feet and just relax when you can (this will also help with any swelling you might get as you get closer to delivering). See if your significant other or a family member/friends can help out more around the house, but if not- don't worry about it. No one expects a perfectly clean house from a 3rd trimester pregnant woman- no one is going to complain about a layer of dust on the furniture or if there's some fuzzies on your floor. Do only what absolutely needs done to keep you and your family safe and healthy and forget about the rest. I don't know what you can afford or how intensive of a cooker you are, but don't worry about the time consuming dinners at night- do something simple and easy or go out to eat an extra night or two. (If you need some recipes, just ask and I can send some your way.) If you can ask family or friends for help- see if some of them would be willing to make a casserole or two for you- you can always freeze them and use them later if you get too many.

And if all else fails- keep telling yourself that it'll soon be over and you'll have the greatest gift ever- your brand new baby. Once you hold your baby- it makes all the uncomfortable moments worth it. I wish you the best and hope things get easier for you!

ehh sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to me. I got Pupps during my third trimester which is a rash that only pregnant woman get and only one percent of pregnant women get. Imaging having poison ivy all over you the last trimester thats what its like. I ended up calling my doctor every day for the last three weeks crying and they finally induced me a week early because the only way it goes away is to have the baby. But like you i got the nausea back and was sooo tired i hope it goes away soon!
