My son is about to be 6 months next week and still having problems sleeping. He still doesn't sleep through the night and wakes up crying at times but is not hungry.
He still fights his sleep during the day. Since this past weekend he has been crying every time i leave him on his bouncer or crib when i have to get things done. As soon as I hold him he stops crying.
Last night as i was getting things ready for his bath he cried like never before. I need help its getting very frustrating when i have to clean and cook and he is crying non-stop.
HELP PLEASE!!! ANY SUGGESTIONS?!!!

My daughter is a bit younger--2 mo-- but she has always fought sleep, especially during the day. I just had to decide that 2-3 hours after she wakes in the morning she takes a nap. I swaddle her tightly, rock her in the same position and sing the same song as bedtime. Sometimes she's asleep in 15 minutes, sometimes it takes almost an hour. But when I think maybe she's really not that tired I remind myself, "No, this is what she always does. She IS tired and she needs to nap." She almost always cries or at least fusses wen I'm putting her to sleep. But if she sleeps an hour or 4, she's a happier baby when she wakes.

I'm lucky that my baby started sleeping through the night on her own, but I do hear her sometimes wake and begin to fuss. I let her fuss/squawk for 15 continual minutes before I go get her. Some nights she'll do this 3+ times, some nights I sneak in and check on her cause she hasn't made a peep for hours. But I always swaddle her tightly and it makes such a difference.

I have days, too, where she cries/screams if she's not held constantly. If I'm not cooking with the stove I'll put her in a pack or wrap and wear her while I do everything else. If I am cooking I place her where she can see me and let her cry 15 minutes at a time. Then I'll stop and go soothe her till she's calm and then I put her down and let her cry another 15 minutes. I have also prepped lots of freezer/crockpot meals when she's sleeping so I have lots of meals that only take me 15 minutes of being away. If you want ideas on freezer meals let me know. Best of luck!
