I spotted like that on and off my whole first pregnancy. I didn't have any complications what so ever. My doc told me that it was just my body's way of getting my body ready for the baby to grow. If its not red I wouldn't worry.

There are some who have mild bleeding through most of their pregnancy though.

brownish spotting is old blood, fresh blood is bright red.. i spotted with my 1st pregnancy and the dr said it was just old blood. i dont think u have anything to worry bout (trust me if it were a miscarriage it wouldnt be brown blood). but if ur still worried ring the early pregnancy unit in ur local hosp and just make up some crap that ur having cramps etc sounds terrible i know but at least ur mind will be at rest :)
