I agree with brandi My kids used to be picky and I made what I made and if they ate then great if not then they went with out no snacks or anything until the next meal and they learned quickly to eat what they are given. We have a saying in my house " you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. " my son is 9 and my daughter is 3 and they are great eaters. It may sound mean but it works.

at 2 and 3 fussy eating isn't uncommon. the best way to combat it is just to serve dinner. If they don't eat, too bad, breakfast is in the morning. If they don't eat breakfast, lunch is at noon. you get the idea. they'll eat what you serve when they're hungry and absolutely won't let themselves starve. Also, encourage them to try everything on their plate. Our house rule is that you must try at least one bite of everything. If you don't like it, that's ok. Also, try to serve at least one thing you know they like and will eat with something new that they will need to try. The more adventurous you can be the more likey it is that they will eventually follow suit. My son will eat literally anything that is in front of him, but my daughter eats very little. She is avg. weight and growing well, so there is no need for worry. As long as your kids are growing well and not underweight, you don't really need to be worrying. Just keep encouraging them to try new things and remember they WILL eat when they are hungry pretty much regardless of what is on their plates. You're not alone. most all parents of toddlers face this problem. lol
