i have tried it to and it didn't work but that was a year ago so i may try it again.. wish me luck :) oh thats not good... all i can suggest is giving him as much love as you can.. ADHD children (especially my son) need extra love as they get anxious.. i really do know how hard it is to love constantly as i always seem to be telling him to stop something ect.. and it does not really help but at least the child feels love :) im sorry i cant help you :(

oh hun i just had to say he is not at all naughty.. please try to remember that he can not help it. but i do understand what you mean as i have a 10 month old daughter that needs entertaining. have you tried strict routine? rules set out.. and behaviour charts.. write down when ou want time with daughter and if he plays nicely and quietly you will give him a sticker/smiley face on his chart to help earn a reward?

gosh i stress so much.. i know he cant help it but i guess im selfish and just cant seem to deal with it lately.. i really need to think how he feels as im sure he is upset with the way he is.. he tries so hard and really wants to listen and understand but he just cant.. today has been an awfull day :( im hoping to get some meds when we have an appointment in september.. i agree amie that natural remedies including diet do not really work.. he is on a very healthy diet anyway.. i hope you find a way to help him cope soon :)

Go back to the doctor and explain this. Ours is great, he does check ups every 3 months to make sure they are still working and monitors her dosage closely.

Lots of explaining, repeating yourself and taking mommy time outs. =) My oldest has ADHD and she is on meds for it. We tried the natural remedies, load of crap, didn't work for our girl. I understand it does for some though! Since she's been on her meds though she's been wonderful. Can stay on task and focused, doesn't fidget nearly as much and isn't so impulsive.
