My son has adhd too, he is on that concerta and it did him a world of good. Some times it helps to get them in a after school group like soccer, or baseball...that way they get that extra energy burned up and meet different kids outside of school.

Quoting Pat:

hi people thank u for the advice, but Ive spoke to the school quite a bit about my son being bullied, and they always say things and mean another,I feel for my son loads,it wasnt even his fault,I have tried to get my son into a speacial school but cause his school said he has improved they wont let him,the last couple of years has been really hard,Im not sure if I did right by going mad at the school, but the boy only got off lightly cause his mum works there and I do think the boy should be pusihed for what he did pat

The Montessori method and schools do not discriminate against children with learning differences. The method used allows all children to learn at their own pace and to respect each other, their surroundings, and their families. I really think it's worth looking into.

its hard and as a teacher ive seen these children , they cop it all from other children and usually become the one to blame when something goes wrong ( even if it wasnt them ) the best thing to do is to ask the teacher to talk to the children about his adhd Believe it or not it will make things better people both children and adults only fear what they dont understand so educating the children on the subject will only do good .
