hello, my daughter is 3 months shy of turning two years old. recently her father was off work for a little over a week. and once he returned to work something about her changed. now she is super clingy and overly emotional when one of us has to leave. im wondering if she is having seperation anxiety due to his returning to work or if its something different? shes been keeping us up to 7am for almost a week now every night and im just having a tough time....please any advice would be great. thanks!! Hi my 8 month old was the same I was at home mom until she was 5 months old since then she has been crying more everytime you put her down to play with her toys and walks to another side of the room she cries balisticly. She doesn't eat unless i feed her on my lap. She doesn't want to sit with anyone else just with me. I heard her daycare saying that she is difficult during the day and she has been there since i started working. I guess it is just a fase they go through. Now after i spent more than 1 hour with my daughter alone at night after work she has gotten a lot better. She can let me go now. In the mornings before I leave I wake her up to say good bye so that she knows I wont dissapear. Maybe it's the same with her father. Try it. It worked for us
