I totally dont mind her carrying something around in "its" place, I would actually prefer it, she does sleep with her lovie every night she has had it since she was born and ive been getting it out during the day and trying to have to play with it

my girl is now 4 i had no trouble to get her of the bottle at 12 months the dummy took a while but than when i got her of it she got a connection with a blanket which she still has and if she cant find it mainly when she upset you wont here the end of it, she sleeps with it and plays with it, im lucky that she will leave the house without it

maybe you should introduce something else that will interest her and something you dont mind her to carry around everwhere

hope this helps in some way
