Affection jealousy?

My 18mo daughter gets upset when my Fiancee and I hug, kiss or show any type of affection. We've always been appropriately loving in front of her so I don't know why it's a problem now. She'll say "no no" or "stop!!" and wedge herself between us.We've tried including her in our hugs but she wont stop. Help!

Our toddler does this from time to time. It was really bad for awhile after we had our newborn, she was so attached to daddy at that time she'd push me and her other siblings away if they came near him and her whilst screeching at us. She's gotten better now.. it does eventually pass. There's usually an underlying cause, for us it was very obvious what it was, other times not so much. Most kids go through a phase though where they do this or prefer one parent over the other. It will pass but keep doing what your doing. =) It's what we did and she eventually reattached herself to me and her siblings. She's still a daddy's girl but it's not hampering our everyday life.

My son is jealous too! He will hit his dad when he tries to hug or kiss me. Its kinda funny though, but it a sad way. I have been encouraging them to spend more time playing together and spending time together. I dont know if it will help but its what were trying
