It's weird, for the last 2 weeks, he goes to bed between 9-10 pm and sleeps right through the night... The odd time he'll wake up around 3am and I'll give him his pacifier to hold him over while I make his bottle, when I get it warming, I come back in to change his diaper and he's back to sleep! like he was only awake because it fell out of his mouth! Is this actually normal for his age? Because I'm starting to worry

Hello - my son is 5months and still not really sleeping through, aarrhhhh, tho we get the odd nights where he does sleep all night. He has been waking about 1 or 2 times a night tho but we dont attent to him and he just falls back to sleep, unless he is really crying we go into him. He usually sleeps from about 8 till 4-5am which is gr8 but all night every night would be nice....!!

My daughter's 12weeks old and last week she slept from 10pm to 5am everyday, these last few nights she's woken up at 3am for a feed though!

Mine started sleeping ten to twelve hours straight every night when he was one month old. I thought it was weird too, but the doc said it was okay.

Please do not worry - just be happy :)
My little guy didn't do this...I heard of these other Mom's whose little one was sleeping through the night (from day one or one month or three months)..believe me there are many out there. As Kelly Z said "as long as he is growing and missing the night feedings are not bothering him" then it is all good :) Hope he continues with this trend and is always a wonderful sleeper!

no nothing to worry about... my daughter slept through the night at that age, waking up only one night or so a week for a few ounces and then back to bed... now is a different story, we are dealing with the effects of teething... enjoy all the sleep u are getting because it may not last as i am now seeing

Don't worry to much my first son slept through the night at two months old. I would still cahnge hiw diaper at least once if not they will leak. But if your baby is hungry he will wake up if he doesn't he is probably just growing. Enjoy the sleep while you can!

that's normal too, it takes some time to sleep through... the first week she slept 8 hours straight, she had 3 nights that she didn't sleep through it's a process that they go through, sorry for my spellingmistakes but I'm from belgium :-)

the weird part is it was sudden, one night he's up 3 times the next not at all, so that night I ended up getting no sleep because I was waiting for him to wake up, and to make sure he's still alive... very scary

it's normal for a 3 month old to sleep trough the night , eleni is now 8 weeks and allready sleeps 8 hours straigth at night so I wouldn't worry and certainly not wake him up to feed him, if he's hungry, you will hear him :-)

wow, I though it was kinda weird and didn't think it was normal at his age, especially when he'll have 7 ounces before bed and a whole 8-9 when he wakes up between 5-7 and then he'll go back to bed!

My daughter slept through the night (10-6) at 9 weeks and never looked back. If he's ready, I say let him sleep and you get some too mom. :-)

My little girl started sleeping the entire night when she was about 6 weeks old I would wake up all the time to check on her I was so scared and I wished she would wake up so I could sleep soundly! But now I am so glad she sleeps through the night...I think it all depends on your baby and be glad you have a great kid!

My son slept through the night starting at 8 weeks until he began teething, then once the teeth came in, he went right back to sleeping through the night!! Don't worry I'm sure he is fine!!

I really think it's fine. My babies slept through the night as young as 3 months also. He might be going through a growth spurt right now, and that's probably why he's sleeping a lot. Unless you notice anything unusal in his behavior, I wouldn't worry about it.

My son did the same thing at around three months.... I couldn't believe it, but it seemed to work for him, and as long as he is getting enough food and napping properly uring the day, our doctor told us it wasn't much of and issue... Most babies take a couple extra months to get to this stage, but as long as he is healthy and eating well, not grouchy or fussy during the day, then it should be fine.. also, you may want to start solids on the early end of the normal age range...

I wouldn't worry....as long as he is still growing and missing the night feedings are not bothering him, than i would be happy that he is sleeping all night....my son started sleeping through the night at about 41/2-5 months old......they say that after, i think, about 3 or 4 months old than they don't really need the night feed....i wouldn't worry, just get as much sleep now as you can....my son has teeth that are starting to come in and he has started waking up in the middle of the night again.......
