hi,don't worry postnatel depression is very common, the best thing that i can suggest you do is speak to your health visitor and doctor... they can advise you on what is best thing for you to do. as every1 suffers postnatel depresson in different ways. i had pre-natel depression and the worst thing i did was bottle it up,once i spoke to my gp every thing seemed better with a little help x

my kids are 10,4,and1. some days i swear i'm going through it. erika is right talk about it and if you cant talk about it write it down. you will go crazy otherwise

dont worry, and try talking to someone! i had depression when i first had my daughter but it went away after about 2.5 months and i talked to my friends ( who didnt have kids but were nice enough to let me cry) and my aunts who had kids. its all a matter of perception. I made time for myself to take a long hot bath and actually eat dinner, your five yr old can help with the baby a lil , like sit the lil one in a swing and toss on baby einstien have the 5 yr old " watch him:" while your making food . or when they are both asleep take a shower with the monitor in the bathroom with you. that way you are making your self less stressed and feeling better. you will see the light soon hang in there!
