Hi, I have an 8 month old who was born with angel kisses (redish marks) in between his eyebrows and a little on his eye lid. he also has it on the back of his neck. My doctor said it would go away by the time he is 1. but then i've read that sometimes it stays! Just wondering if any other mother here has or has had a child with this.

(not that i mind, he is beautiful no matter what!!)

just curious!

thanks!

Hello, my daughter is a 1 1/2 old and she still has her bite. It has faded so much and I really noticed it going away when she was 11-12 months old. They usually do go away:)

Both my daughters had them in the same places as your little boy they are now 3 and 4 and I can't tell you when the ones on their face dissapeared they faded slowly till one day I noticed they no longer had them. The one on the back of their neck hasn't faded yet but their hair covers it.

Hi, I have a two and a half year old son who had a really prominent stork bite on his forehead in the shape of a "V" that is still visible. It has faded quite a bit, but it shows up purple when he get mad or upset. Most people say they don't even notice it anymore. My other son, who is 3 months, has a small dot on his forehead, and a couple larger "bites" on the back of his head and the nape of his neck, but when the hair grows in, you won't be able to tell.
