I have a daughter who will be 2 in October. My fiance is deploying again in June 2014, we want another little before he goes, however My main concern is will our daughter feel less loved in a sense, considering I'll be home with both kids with him for a year... If that makes sense..

I agree with the others--if you want another child, go for it! I am definitely an advocate of being married because it provides a solid network, but family isn't always dictated by that. Just do as much as you can to make your daughter a part of the process. Let her suggest names, surprise her with boy/girl in a fun way, let her pick out clothes or supplies for the baby, let her "help" you care for the baby. And when your fiance is deployed, let you daughter share news about things the baby does.

Honestly, your daughter will be fine. I think the bigger concern should be how your fiance will fee being away from his kids and how your daughter will cope with daddy being gone. Best wishes!

I agree with Michelle. If you really want another than have another. Sibling rivalry is common and they just get over it! Do whats best for y'all. Just make sure you are able to (mentally and emotionally) able to care for them while your husband is deployed! Seems like a very important conversation and decision that should be made between your family.

It will partially depend on her personality, but I believe a big part of it would be how you act. Allow your daughter to help with baby stuff...include her in every aspect... When my sister had a 2nd child she had the new baby bring her son a gift at the hospital..she did that with her 3rd as sounds dorky but it really created a great bond between those kids right away

How your daughter feels is completely up to you and her personality. My oldest child was very independent so welcomed another child. Others can get very jealous of another child though.
It's very hard for us to know how your daughter will react.
