If me I base myself on financial stability, If I can support to have a child every other year why not till I will have 5 kids. Because I want to have 5 kids in total.

We have 21 months between our boys and there will be 19 months between my youngest and this baby. We figured roughly 2 years, they just happen to be a little closer!

My son will be 1 in February and we plan on trying for our 2nd then. I want to have my kids close together in age and I think about 2 years is a perfect age difference.

my sons are 13 mos apart, 2 and 1 now.. both awesome suprises.. when i found out with my second, i was happy but a lil reserved about it.. i mean my first boy was only 3 mos lol.. but now they absolutely love and depend on each other.. its easier for me most times, the 2 yr old already tries to take care of his brother.. we left it up to God i guess, lol.. but its all worked out nicely, i couldnt imagine not having both even so close together.. plus i knew what to expect with my second very well b/c i didnt have much of a break

My son will be 3 in Dec and I am now ready and trying for #2. He is doing well with potty training, sleeps in his own big boy bed and communicates great..I think he will be much more of a helper now that he is older. Im a personal nanny and I care for 3 children 7 months 3yr and 5yr and my son comes with me..and the older ones help out alot!! I think things would be a little easier for you if you spread them out a lil further, however only you know whats best for you ;) I always wanted mine close in age (my sis and I are 13 months apart) but after my son...sheesh there was no way I wanted another until he was older..LOL Now I can see that he really could use a playmate at home.

My daughter will be 23 months when I give birth to my son. I think that it will work well. She will be able to be my little helper and I bet she will just love that and she already loves babies.

I think 2 years is a good space. I have an 8 year old and a 21 month old. It was a big gap, but I was 16 when I had my son. I really enjoyed the alone time I had with him, but I often feel sad that he has no siblings closer to his age to play with. But, he's a great helper with my daughter. I think that if you feel its a good time to try for another, then that is your sign. Do not be scared, you can do it. Good luck!
