i have 2 kids that i trainned and a boy that i watch during the day. what i did was wake my son up at 3am or 4am in the morning everyday for 2 weeks until his body was used to wakeing up at that time and my kids were completely trainned at the age of 2. While potty trainning I did not use pull ups. my son peed on his self only 3 times overnight.

Hi, I'm new to this group!

I just started potty training my son about 3-4 weeks ago, he'll be 3 next month. And EVERY single night he wakes up either in the middle of the night wet, or is at least wet by the time we get him up in the morning...I'm afraid to put pull-ups or diapers even just at night because I'm afraid he'll revert back to not going potty during the day! How long should this last?

My son is 4 years old and at times he will still wet the bed if he has a lot of sugars during the day. I also just as the other mothers have said have to make him stop drinking after a certain hour. When he is really thirsty at bedtime I will let him a little milk or water. Try limiting his sugars throughout the day and see if that helps. Valerie

My son is also 3 n a half-we've jus got 2 the point where he's dry at nite tho it was a struggle but the 1 thing that worked 4 us was lettin him hve a small drink at bedtime then suggestin he does a wee but if not every nite b4 we went 2 bed we'd sit him on the potty-ok u worry about disturbin them but if u dont engage in conversation but jus tell them 'its time to do a wee' then put them straight bk 2 bed we found 4 the rest of the nite he remained dry!

Mine has been trained for 8 months now and it still happens a little. I think sometimes he just sleeps to hard and doesn't wake up because he doesnt have too much to drink. I tell him every night as a reminder, Don't peepee on yourself, Scream Momma I gotta PeePee if you have to go, and thats what he does. I get woke up on the weekends from him yelling that out. Have you tried taking him off the pull-up? I know its aggravating having to wash blankets and sheets every time he does it but I think that helped mine. He has Thomas the Train bedding and he didnt want to pee pee on Thomas, and waking up with soaked pee pee clothes, he doesnt like that too much either.

Does he drink any juice? It's a diuretic. My suggestion is to keep with the pull ups. I have a sister who wet the bed til she was 7. It turned out her bladder walls were thicker than normal so she didn't wake up because she couldn't feel it as well as other people. The situation corrected itself.

Is he drinking alot at dinner? I only give mine one cup and thats all. He always asks for more but I tell him no, you pee pee in your bed still so you can't have anymore. He was doing it about once a week for a while, but now its like once every 2 weeks. Does yours do it every night and how long has he been potty trained?

Set a time to stop letting him drink at night. Like dont let him have anything to drink 2 hours prior to going to bed, then make him pee pee right before going to sleep. I had to do that with my youngest son because he would only have accidents at night.
