i have three kids, my first two are girls and my last is a boy... i was induced with my first two, for different reasons, and got an epidural because the contractions were terrible. during my pregnancy with my son i gained alot of weight and had severe backpain at the spot where the epidurals were placed... and i still have back pain, that gets so bad sometimes ive almost dropped my 3 month old son... am i the only one thats had a problem with this kind of back pain, or did i just get some bad epidurals?

Yep, i to have back pain where they put my spinal for my c-section. I believe it is a complication to how they put it in. I have been seeing a chiropractor and the pain has mostly gone away. I rarely get it now. But the pain would be so nauseating and i would just want to curl up in a little ball...

My back does still hurt when mine was put in. I'm not sure why nor does it happen all the time.

My youngest will be 5 this March I had an epidural with her..And I still have problems with my back, the pain generates from the insertion sight. It has gotten so bad at times I've had to call my parents to come and help me out of bed or up from a chair. Usually every 3-9 months the area starts acting up and sometimes my back goes completely out other times I'm just in serve pain for a week. The pain radiates down my legs and hips. :(... I wish I had just sucked it up like I did with my oldest and not had one if 5 years later (and no sign of it stopping) I would still be pain.

My mom had that problem with my youngest brother who is now 4. She believes that because he was born as a result of an emergency section that her spinal may have been in haste. I as well get some pain from my epidural two years ago. It's not too horrible, just seems like a nerve pinch every once in awhile. I as well go to the chiro once a week and it tends to keep me in check.

I got an epideral with my first child and sometimes it feels like I get a little twinge in my back and I have asked other moms that have had them and the said they feel the same thing sometimes. It is weird and it doesn't really hurt.
