I am on partial bed rest and it is driving me completely crazy. I am constantly having to sit and its all I can do to clean the house. Any ideas and how do you make yourself feel useful, my hubby is helping me so much, but i find myself mad at him because it makes me feel so very useless when he does it. And the fact that he does it so happily. Not to mention I feel like I'm short changing my child. HELP????

I'm not currently on bedrest, but I used to be. I know the feeling of "uselessness" but especially if you've got a hubby who is happily helping you out, you should move past it. After all you're very lucky. Some women out there don't have that luxury! Anyway you're not useless, and in fact, you're actually doing the most important work right now - by following your doctor's orders (no matter how boring it may be) you are ensuring the health and safety of your baby to be. As for your other child, have him/her sit with you, read stories together, watch movies. Your other child will understand you love them, and likely will not remember the period of time that mommy was on bedrest. As for what to do to pass the time - get yourself a book, a laptop and the tv remote!
