Are you consistant with the rules and discipline?

My little one is 2yrs. old. We are teaching her the rules of our house. For example, no hitting, no yelling, no food in the bedrooms, and no food on the floor. Other rules are naptime at 1pm and bedtime at 8pm. Then there are the the teaching of manners. We've been teaching her to say, "milk please", when asking for her sippy. Instead of saying, "I want...". We are teaching her to say, "yes sir", and "yes ma'am", when we get on to her for something. My husband and I try to follow through with these rules all day everyday. We take turns doing the discipline because we want our daughter to see that we stand united when it comes to teaching her and disciplining her. The same goes for bedtime. He may put her down and if she gets up then I put her down. We work as a team. Do you have rules that you and your household follow? Are you consistant with discipline?

I have a 5 year old son and I try to teach him all the rules here. He does say yes mama no mama please and thank you. He knows we only eat in the kitchen and no toys out the room. I try to do it all day every day but then again. I have another younger son that really dont understand as well. Sometimes they listen all day and other days they dont. I try to be cosistant as much as posible but it works.
