It's different for every baby. My oldest didn't crawl 'til 12 months but started walking a week later! My youngest crawled at 7; walked at 10 (both girls). I have a friend who'd daughter didn't walk until 18 months. As long as your doctor isn't concerned, I wouldn't worry about it either.

every baby is different! crawling is optional these days but lots of things can factor in like weight and activity of the child but walking for girls is by 14 months and by 18 months for boy... if they haven't don't it by then they should be checked out by a doc.

There is no answer to this question. All babies are individuals and it's not a competition. It will happen when it happens. Some babies don't crawl at all, they bum-shuffle or go very quickly to walking. Most things I've read suggest that if a child is not walking by age 2, there may be a problem.
