There has always been one position in that would trigger cramping but last night all my favorite positions caused a thunderstorm of cramps that lasted a good hour afterward. I am very worried about this. Has anyone else had this problem?

Go to the Dr this happened to me once, I was in tears couldnt walk and went to the er. turns out I had an infection forget the name but it is something that the man carries a baterica and when the climate is right in your vagina it can cause an infection. I was on 3 different antibiotics and got a shot in my booty.

I have been experienciing cramps and back ache not just during or after sex, but just randomly. i booked myself into the emergency doctors (U.K) and they tested me for a water infection. which was fine! no infection. but i continued to get cramps and backache. I spoke to the doctor and the midwife about this and they say it is perfectly normal to get periods like pains while your pregnant. it is the baby growing and if it is your first pregnancy it is scary feeling these pains, but they have said it is perfectly normal. Good luck xxx

I thought about that Jen, but it became very clear today that this infection is pretty mean and real. It's good thing I didn't just wait it out and that's what I would have done if you all haven't scared the crap out of me with your stories. I'm terrified of doctors offices.

Glad to hear things are going better for you. you also might want to ask about endometrious (sp) sorry im such a bad speller :) that isnt only crampy while having periods it can also be very painful while having sex! and sometimes it may look as though there is an infection there but if tested it will come back as neg. and it normally only hurt during sex or periods. So you should ask your doc about that as well.Good luck i hope things get better for you.

They didn't, but my doctor poked around and couldn't even get the cramps to come back. (shrug) I'm just going to have to see what happens. It could have just been too mutch because I wasn't properly hydrated but we're taking it slow for a while. I'm going back in to see the doctor in a few weeks anyway so I will ask her about it durring my visit.

Did they do an Ultrasound? Becuase this sounds like exactly how I felt with ovarian cysts.. it was so bad I couldnt get outta bed, and sex triggered the cramps.

Well the doctor says it's normal for this to happen to some woman and I'm fine. I have a small infection but it couldn't possibly have caused it. I'm just too flexible now and he's hitting my cervex dead on. Time to figure out new methods. I think I can find something to put on him to keep him from going all the way in if I shop around. That will make him feel good about himself. hahaha!

Thankyou for your consern.

Well I'm not pregnant, that has been confirmed this morning. One less thing to worry about because all those crams could have really put stress on a baby. I'm going this afternoon to see the doctor. Thanks ladies.

I would make an appointment with a doctor or even a nurse. I have had the same once, had lots of different tests done and all was OK. Never had it again lol.

I only took one of them and I'm sure it was fine. My dentist has given them to me a few times without any issues at all. I used an ice pack for a few hours last night because I did sense some swelling. This morning I felt fine and things seem to be in balance agian. I'm taking a prego test in the morning, before my appointment, to avoid looking like an idiot. I know the chances are slim but have felt quite odd lately (heart burn, nausia, irritability, not normal for me) and have had a lot of interesting dreams.

Yea dont take antibiotics, besides what ever they gave you for the mouth wont work on the vagina, if its a bacterial infection it wont treat the bacteria and if the meds you have have a side affect of yeast infections your asking for trouble.I personally wouldnt wait until Thursday and would go to the ER now, but Im wierd about vaginal infections, some cause do major damage and cause infertility if not treated quickly.

Please, don't take the antibiotics!! First off, if they're old, they won't work, secondly, sometimes antibiotics can make some conditions worse!!! Please please please just wait til you see the doctor, and if it gets worse or doesn't subside before Thursday visit the ER. just don't take the antibiotics unless they're prescribed for you!!!

I have an apointment on thursday now. I'm wondering if all this could have been caused by dehydration so I'm drinking extra water today. I'm also going to take some antibiotics left over from a dental procidure just in case.

Trying to get in right now. Starting to think that going to the ER is going to be the best bet though. I might have to get a referal but I don't have a doctor. I want to scream.

i had those same conditions, and it turned out that i had cysts. while they aren't normally a huge problem, because i ignored the situation for so long, one ruptured and could have been deadly if i hadn't gotten to the hospital soon enough. not trying to scare you, but i definately think you should get yourself checked out. hope you get better soon!!

condoms are not 100%... and if you've had unprotected sex anytime in the past year you could be feeling the effects now... vaginal bacterial infections are known to show little to no sign for sometime before they start to hurt and become potentially dangerous.

[deleted account]

Definitely call the doc! I had the same thing happen and it ended up being a very serious bacterial infection :( if i didn't catch it when i did it could've done serious damage to my ovaries and tubes.

He could have hit your cervix the wrong way and bruised it. Or it could be another type of bacterial infection, Our vaginas contian a lot of bacteria and normally keeps everything in balance, but if something gets to warm or to moist or to much friction and the bateria can get out of control. So dr is your best bet in this situation.

Um... I'll call my Doctor. I wasn't in tears but it was very painful. Still cramping this morning a little bit though. We use condoms though so I'm not sure how this could have happened...
