I think he is healthy. My baby hasn't been weighed since he was 3 1/2 months old and at that time he was 15 lbs or 6.8kg. He is now 5 months and has to be over 8kg. Chubby babies are just cute in my opinion. Oh and my son was only 5 lbs or 2.26 kg at birth.

depends what he was when he was born. my 6 pound baby was supposed to be a minimum of 10 kilos by 12 months but she was only just on 7. really to be honest the docs focus to much on saying babies are too big or too small when it really doesnt matter. this is what the nurses told me in the peds ward anyway

Im not due yet but i have quite a few friends with bubs and ive been told that about 1 years of age they are around 10-12 kgs if this helps. I even know friends who have bubs at about 18 months that are only just in the huggies walker nappies which ranges from 13-18 kgs. hope this helps.. ask u dr if he's in the healthy weight percentile.
