How old do you think a baby has to be in order to appreciate a trip to Disney World? Not to the degree that they would remember going, but just to the point where they would kind of "get it" and be excited to see the characters and such. DH's family is planning a trip to Disney World and my son will be 11 months at the time.

We recently came back from Disney...our son was a couple of weeks from turning 3 yrs old. I think that was a good age! He was familiar with the characters and was not afraid to go and say "hi" to them. He was a little short, by 2 fingers, to ride some of the rides...but was okay with it, he was entertained by other sites of the parks!

Id say 5, and younger and I dont think they would be tall enough to ride the rides, plus they might not be as patient waiting in line.
