Babies that just prefer mommy!!!

It tickles me to death that my almost 4 month old prefers me over anyone else. Its just extremely hard for me to go anywhere or do anything because I always have the babysitter calling me telling me she won't stop crying. Then as soon as i arrive and I pick her up she gives me this huge smile and stops crying! I dont know if I should just keep her at the sitters and just let her cry it out, or come to her rescue because of how little she still is. She will even cry if daddy is holding her while I make her a bottle. any suggestions? :)

In my opinion, I think it best to "come to her rescue". At this tender age it is extremely important that you are there with her if she needs you (and it is a need). There are many studies which document the permanent effects/"damage" leaving your child in stressful situations, such as this, will cause. This is a good summary of a lot of the research:

If your DD cries that hard and long she is in obvious stress and should be with you. Maternal infant bonding is extremely important. While our society may say it's normal for us to leave our babies as early as 6 wks all day this is not what nature intended and it is not what is best for our babies.

My daughter is 2. She also prefers me over anyone else. I love it but it can be a hassle at times. I don't have any suggestions just wanted to say you are not alone! I love your picture.
