I make most of my son's food too, but I also feed him some jar stuff, like green beans. I can't get the texture of my green beans right and he won't eat it. If she's got teeth and gets the concept of chewing she can have lumpier foods. My son doesn't quite have the concept of chewing but we're working on it! As long as she's eating good healthy food and not junk, it's ok to mix homemade and jar food. And all the better if you feed her what you eat, it'll cut down on food battles later on. I give my son some of what we eat if it's something he can eat.

i have always fed homemade.. i used to blend lots up then freeze it in portions.. then mash and freeze.. now she just eats by herself.. whatever i cook.. if we decide on a takeaway i quicky whip up some rice or pasta with veg and salmon/tuna.. so its really easy to feed homemade food.. i think the jars taste foul so i would never give them to her.. (i bought one, had a cafe warm it, tasted it.. nooo way was i giving that to my child!) lol.. and also with it being homemade you know exactly what goes into it xx
