well I was told to put rice cereal in their bed time bottle or the oatmeal and that makes the milk a little heavier so it will help them to sleep longer through the night, usually when a baby that young wakes its because they are hungry, but you can always start with the self soothing technique now and that may work too.

When you figure it our can you please let me know???

My daughter is now 2yrs and 2mths and my hubby and I are yet to wake up in our bed without her being squished in the middle.

We love her, she is our last baby and the only girl yet I want sleep....

Good luck, i do hope you get some sleep very soon

My daughter is 9 months old and every once in a while she will wake up through the night for a bottle. I suggest you try to get her off the pacifier for one. As far as the bottle goes. I usually add rice cereal to my daughter's bedtime feeding and I warm it up. I also give her a bath every night and put lotion on her. Good luck!

Patience and time is probably the key, Rice cereal will help if there hungry but at this age they are also going through alot developmentally and sometime just need a bit more 'mum or dad time'. It depends on your family's beliefs but some gentle self settling techniques might work or just ride out this phase with some extra cuddles

If its any help, my kids are 9, 7 and 6 and still wake through the night sometimes so you are not alone.
