hello, my little boy was always a great burper. now he is 18 months and laughs when he does it. i always found that siiting him upright and putting pressue on his chest with my hand as i firmly rubbed his back made it come out straight away... fairly hard was the way to do it. and keep them as upright as possible. hope this helps xx

p.s what a beautiful baby

Infacol never worked for my daughter but gripe water really helped. It warms the stomach and eases the wind. Other than that i would suggest sitting her on the edge of your knee and bobbing ur knee.

I had the same probelm with all 3 of my girls they were all very windy babies wat i used to was use infacol in there bottle, with my twins i would lay them down on a cloth nappy on the floor and they would bring up any wind, but really it is stage and they should get over in a few weeks/ months. they are know 4.5 months and bring up there wind fine and have for awhile know, if it does get better maybe see your child nurse bub may have reflux. You can use infacol from one month by using it in there bottle it should reduce the amount of wind if you breatfeeding use it before the feed.

hope that hepls

Have you tried Gripe Water?

This doesn't always work for us. There is also Infacol. (I think that's spelt right) We tried those on our 22month old and it worked about half the time.

For our 6week old, we have trouble burping her, and she then can't settle when she doesn't burp. We pat her hard on the back, though of course, not hard enough to hurt and alternate between rubbing hard up and down her back. Have had to use Gripe Water twice so far.

Heya,
I'm not sure if you have Gripe Water in the States. I'm in New Zealand and we can just buy it off the shelf in the supermarket.

hello, i'm a mum of 3, i had trouble burping but i found that if u put baby on your knee, put your hand around the top of the stomach below the ribs apply alittle bit of pressure then lean her back slowly so she lies flat then slowly bring her back up again. worked really well for me hope it helps.x
