Our baby was sleeping through and then All of a sudden started waking at night again. Was holding ear and crying but after two visits to GP and one course antibiotics she is stil doing it so I took her back to GP but still no answers and all obs were fine and ears are fine. She is definitely teething and Ive heard that night waking and holding ear as well as fussiness when feeding can be teething related..... But this has been going on for 3-4 weeks, is this likely ??? We are worried.. Panadol and nurofen don't seem to mask it.. She is fussy feeding on one side, when the ear she holds is downwards on my arm.
Any ideas? Should we go to a paediatrician - we live an hour from anything but a GP

It is because of the teething, there is really nothing you can do to stop it. Your baby will be fine though. Good luck.

Try olive oil.. Just a tiny drop.. Only your baby will know what hurts.. So it is worth trying
