My son is 4.5 months old and refuses to sleep in his crib. He either sleeps in his car seat or on me. Not sure what to do. I've put him down in his crib and he just screams. Ive tried turning on the mobile for distraction...waiting till he falls asleep to put him down..but nothing seems to work. Any advise????

Put a shirt you wore in the crib under him. He will smell you and feel secure to sleep do it everytime I had to with my youngest he is five now. But you have to wear it first.

Have you tried the sssh and pat technique? It's best if you wrap him so he feels secure then turn him to his side and repeat over and over sshhh sshhh and pat his bottom. It sounds bizarre but it does work. Play some soothing music in the background as well. Best of luck.
