My oldest daughter is nearly five and is just wanting to not wear a night nappy anymore. However she is still wetting the bed on average every second night. What to do? Put up with it or put her night nappy back on.

I have been taking her through the night and that seems to work. It tends to be at about 5am that she is wetting. She doesn't keep sleeping she is waking and telling me, so hopefully it wont be too long before she gets the hang of it. Thank for the advice, it's nice to now it's not just me haveing these issues.

make sure she dosent have anything to drink an hour before bed, make her go to the bathroom before bed, if that dosent work then i would go back to the nappy. If she dosent want to wear it maybe this will help motivate her to not wet the bed. Also you could if you dont want to put her in the nappy set the alarm for a certain time in the middle of the night and take her to the bathroom... good luck=)

Put up with it. My daughter stopped wearing a pull up at night ater she turned four, I think that was too long. She hasn't had to learn control at night and sometimes the only way to learn it is to let her be wet. Not the nicest or cleanest solution but it will work, it just takes time. Make a big deal about when she doesn't wet her bed and have her help you strip and wash the sheets when she does. Its not a punishment but they realize how "yucky" it is. Good luck.
