When I look at my daughter I know that I want her to be a good person I want her to go to school and college and think about marriage and babies later in life after she has a career and wont have to depend on anyone but herself. But, is that too much to ask if i didn't go that route?

Hey, I hear ya on that one. You want the best for your daughter, same with all of us (I hope) - we just want the best for our children. There's nothing wrong with wishing the best. The only thing to watch out for is your reactions if those expectations aren't met. Sometimes parents live vicariously through their child - which can become a problem. I'm sure you will always love and accept your daughter no matter what, that you will always be there for her...so just worry about whats happening in the moment and take things one step at a time. Raising a child with abundance in love and motherly nourishment is the best we can do
