What do you think are the best sippy cups? I have a 12 month old would tends to bite the soft nuby style tops. I have avent now, but they leak like crazy!

The ones with straws... the other ones are so bad for little one's teeth. They make the liquid go strait to the back of the upper front teeth. So many toddlers have to get their teeth pulled because of that.

i bought my son the tossable sippies and he would bite them too. he loves mickey mouse so i bought a ton of them and he started biting the tops to them. i showed him that when he bites his mickey cups it makes them start to break and if they do we have to throw them away. he was not about to throw away his mickey cups and i would give him gentle reminders and he actually stopped and hasnt bitten them since.

if that doesnt work, i have seen sippies that change color when liquid is poured into them. the tops of these sippies are really hard and if he bites them, they will only leave a cute little tooth mark. also, inside the lids are the little valves that make them completely spill proof. you can get them at walmart in all different colors.

good luck!!

My Daughter Has A NUK Orthodontic One.
It Has Two Handles With Grip On Them and A Grip Bottom.
The Part They Put In Their Mouth Is Soft But Not Too Soft.
I Got It At Walmart For Like 5 Bucks.

Ha! I was going to say the nuby until I saw that your 12 month old likes to bite it. I just bought one yesterday and my 10 month old is doing the same thing! Although he is drinking the water too :) I may have to go and get the hard top one soon...Good luck to you!

I have found that the Nuby hard topped sippy cups are the best. I had the same problem with my son biting the tops also. We also have some other hard toped that have a flower on top and my son and daughter like them also.
