Breast feeding and palpitations

I've been breast feeding for over a year now and almost every time I breast feed I get heart palpitations ,Off and on for the first months, then now recently I experience them very frequently, even when I'm not breast feeding. It feels like my heart is skipping a beat and I lose my breath. When I feed my son it feels as though he is sucking the life out of me , it's very uncomfortable. I'm in the process of weaning him now but I want to know if any one else has experienced this with breast feeding? I'm currently pregnant with baby #2 on the way but I don't know if I want to continue breast feeding, I'm scared of having a heart attack or something..

I work for an allergist and wanted to let you know that it is ok to try a small amount of peanut butter when they are eating solid foods. Just watch for a reaction. (hives, flushing, vomiting, swelling)
