If you go for a blood test, it should be accurate now.

Or a week after the bleeding started you should be able to get a positive urine test if you're pregnant. Do the test in the morning. Your urine is the most concentrated then.

It's possible that you're pregnant. If your period came early, and it was short or light, it might have been implantation bleeding, not an actual period.

Implantation bleeding happens to some women when the embryo implants in the lining of your uterus.

Even after the embryo implants it will take awhile to get a positive home pregnancy test. The placenta has to start growing, the pregnancy hormone has to get into your blood, your kidneys have to filter the pregnancy hormone out of your blood, and it has to reach a high enough concentration in your urine for the test to detect it.

I used the most sensitive home tests on the market and never got a positive pregnancy test until my period was close to a week late. All six times.

Have you done a test yet?

Was your period normal? Or was it early, and seemed different, maybe lighter than normal?
