My daughter is 4 months now and the doctor says she's got colic, she will be happy and playing and in a split second start painfully screaming. It doesn't seem like colic to me but this is my first baby does anyone else have this problem?

My son cried whenever he was awake for the first three months. turns out he had reflux. Before i put him on zantac I tried "the happiest baby on the block" 4 or 5 s's : swaddle, shoosh, swing, suck- paci. It usually worked. Sometimes I took him into the bathroom and ran the shower or vacuum. If you are really worried though go to another doctor. Doctors are not infallible and there is no substitute for a mothers intuition. I hope everything works out and is ok.

Well I asked her doctor about switching formulas and she said no because Mallory Lou was gaining weight but she's only gained 2 pounds in two months. She does have reflux as well as the colic

No I can't because she's tongue tied and can't latch. I feel like there's more with her because she goes from laughing to screaming painfully but every time I take her in her doctor just says I'm a paranoid mom its just colic
