What could it mean if my 6week old acts hungry every 30min-an hour every day at least once a day?

He is cluster feeding b/c he needs more milk. Its a growth spurt and it increases your milk supply to meet the demands of your LO's growing appetite. It should only last a week or so.

It is totally normal if you are breastfeeding. I know that! Not sure if it is bottle feeding. If you are feeding the bottle maybe just feed more with each meal? I still think it is pretty normal. My sons hit a wicked growth spurt at about 6 weeks.

Isn't 6 weeks usually a growth spurt (I could be remembering wrong). As long as it isn't like that all day for more than one day, I wouldn't worry.

If your breastfeeding that's completely natural. It only takes about an hour for them to digest breast milk.

Are you breast feeding? If so the same thing happened to me at that age and I was told by my doctor that it was my son working up my milk supply. As hard as it is to sit and nurse most of the day it is also the most beautiful thing in the world and trust me it does get better :) Hang in there and good luck!

he is going through a growth spurt at 6 weeks, let him eat when he wants, he will tell you when he is full.

Thanks! I was starting to think my breastmilk just wasn't good enough!! A growth spurt totally makes sense!
