my daughter had cradle cap too, we ended up getting a perscription shampoo from the doctor and you only have to use it 3 times a week, it worked before the whole bottle was gone

my son it real bad when he was first born and we used olive oil. put it all over his head about 1/2 hr before his bath and then rise it out real good in the bath and shampoo and scrub the scalp real good. we only had to do it twice and he was all cleared up. hope this helps!

my daughter had it and we washed her with baby shampoo and while shampoo in hair you scrubb scalp good for 5 minutes. We did that everyday for a week and it was gone.

My 5 month old had really bad cradle cap about 2 months ago.We bought the Cradle Cap shampoo made by Natures Care.It has worked wonderfully. However it does leave her hair smelling bad but it has worked. We are still using it even though it is pretty much gone but I want to make sure it is all gone.Good luck!

My baby got cradle cap 2 wen she was about 3/4mths old i used cradle cap shampoo but that didnt work so i used johnsons shampoo and detangling conditioner everyday 4 over a week and combed it thru and it now totally gone. depends how bad it is as 2 how long u need 2 use it. Also try blow drying on a very cool temp 2 dry the scalp so it doesnt progress worse.

This sounds strange.....but Bi-Carb Soda!!! Mix it with a bit of water to make a paste and use like shampoo! My son had a lot of hair so it was a bit tricky, after i rinsed it out i did it again just to make sure! He never had it again! I know some babies get it often, mums i know just kept using baby oil and stuff but it always come back!! I never had to do it again....i guess it depends on the child though!! :)

Yea I think I used baby oil (this was over 3 years ago, sorry), but what was most effective was taking a comb for babys and just scraping away at it, but careful not to scrape the babys scalp. It worked and didnt come back.

the only thing that worked for my daughter was olive oil! rub it in her hair and let it sit for about 5 minutes then give her her regular bath! you can use a fine toothed comb to losen the flakes! after 2 or 3 times of this, it was gone! before then i had used the special cradle cap shampoos and letting the shampoo soak but nothing worked!
