Olive oil - massage it into the scalp and leave it on as long as possible then brush the flakey skin off.

Try good old vaseline. Put some on after a bath (just a bit goes a long way) and massage it in with a baby brush...guaranteed to work within a few days...quicker some times!!!

My son is 16 months old and he had cradle cap when he was younger. The Dr. said to use selson blue and a soft tooth brush when taking a bath. Just scrub with the tooth brush and the shampoo, after a week or so the cradle cap will start to disapear. It realy works.

My daughter is almost 2 and she STILL has cradle cap...when she was younger we used olive oil onher scalp and the a baby comb to remove it...now her hair is too long to use oil (just makes it greasy), nothing really works for us, her ped said she will eventually grow out of it...but I am starting to be sceptical about that.

Selson Blue shampoo works the best but just use a little. My daughter had it when she was young and I tried everything... nothing helped. I asked the docotr and they suggested Selson Blue. I didn't have to use it again after the first time. It works great!

My son had cradle cap and I would massage baby oil or mineral oil on his scalp before giving him a bath. I just used the regular baby wash to get it out, then I would brush his hair to stimulate the scalp. It seemed to help.
