I've been cramping for a whole week and my period was due to come the 10th of this month however it is now the 14th. The cramping feels as if a period is going to come but nothing happens. I am never late! And we are not trying to conceive we always pull out however I know that is not the best form of birth control. May just be pregnant? I did take a test and it came up negative but I'm thinking it is too soon to tell.

"There are lots of myths about baby-making sex (positions, timing, determining the baby's gender) but the expert advice is to have sex two to three times a week if you're trying to conceive because sperm can survive for up to seven days in the womb and fallopian tubes. Having sex regularly ensures there will always be some sperm around to meet the egg when you ovulate and the egg is released. "Mumsnet

yeh, i think its so that the yeast down below, doesnt get to used to the sperm and so therefore theres more of a likely chance of it letting the sperm survive....

Same here. I conceived my dd when i was on the pill too. And i never experienced the implantation bleeding or cramps, just bloating mainly as i think i was too oblivious to the fact i could be pregnant! Id still wait to do a test cause you could only be 3 days into in (literally conceiving a child as we speak) so rest as much as possible and put your feet up cause your body may be making a baby as we speak!

Yeh it makes sense i used the 'first'day of your cycle too. I hust used the 'last' day, being two weeks ago to work out roughly the date your started your period.

So...the ring came out on the 26th and you had a period before that of 4 days? So that would be the 19th of March that you had a period? Then you had a period on the 30th which lasted till the 2nd of April? Its now the 10th and your experiencing cramps. So yes your most fertile days are the 6th to the 10th April. So you could be experiencing implantation cramping..But have you had no small amount of bleeding at all?

every ovulation calculator i use says to start with the first day of my cycle not the last. the first day was the 30th. i dunno if that makes a difference

well it was almost two weeks ago! my first day was the 30th, but it only lasts 4 days. but i was on the nuva ring. and i took it out the 26th, but before i took it out i had a period a week before that. so i dunno if i screwed everything up lol

Actually Im wrong its the 3rd to 7th April. I just done it again as two weeks ago was the 27th. So you would have started around the 20th?

Cramps are a symptom of pregnancy, but because you havent 'missed' a period yet, Id hold out on the test as It will most likely give a negative. If you are not using contraception then there is a likely chance you could be pregnant.

You say your most fertile days are from now till monday.  But you say you had your period 2 weeks ago. So what was the exact date you started your period and how long did it last for? How long is your normal cycle? I did the ovulation calculation for you, if you say your period ended two weeks ago and it came out as your most fertile days were the 24th to the 28th March!

when I got pregant with my third I was always bloated and had cramping sometimes very painful cramping but my doctor said that with each pregancey it can be a little harder on your body and since your body knows the signs its like your uterus just starts growning faster then the baby. I also had my period three weeks before I found out I was pregant I just took a test because my body felt off I was'nt trying to get pregant at the time
