what is a good age to start your baby sleeping in the crib instead of a bassinet?

My baby girl is 4 1/2 months now and she's been sleeping in her crib since she was about 6 weeks. It took me a while to get used to not freaking out if she didn't make a peep in a few hours, but I eventually got over it. She sleeps anywhere from 8 to 10 hours a night so her and I both get better sleep now that she's in her own crib and nursery. They can sleep in their crib as early as you want them to as long as you have a wedge for smaller babies. But you don't want them to get dependent on sleeping close to you or you'll never get any sleep! :)
