Dating after Baby

I am a single mother and my son is now 4 mo old. I have recently started dating a guy I've known almost my entire life...we are taking things slow and I mean really slow. We've been on about 7 dates, have only kissed and didn't kiss until the 5th date. If things keep going well, somewhere way down the road we will probably be having sex, but obviously not until I'm comfortable. So I have a few questions.... Does anyone else have insecurities about their C-section scar? Don't get me wrong I am very proud of it, it's kind of like a battle wound. But when it comes to intimacy, I'm insecure about it. Also, what can I expect when/if we finally do have sex? Is it going to hurt? Are you really "virginized" after having a baby? (I also haven't had sex in over a year now)

i started dating when my son was 5 months old. and he is now 18 months old and im still with the same guy, and about ready to have another baby! just keep things at a pace where you both are comfortable. and hun you should not have insecurities about a c-section scar, my son was a c-section to, and it only makes you more beautiful! and sex might hurt since you have no had it in a while, and your really not virginized ever after having kids, they say that when you have a kid vaginally because they sew you back up.

Okay I didn't have a C-section, but I did have twins so I went from 97 lbs to 170 (delivery). I started dating when they wre 9 months (when I left their dad), and like you I knew the guy. The first few times we had the lights off because I have several stretch marks. As my daughter says my tummy looks like cookie dough (extra skin). If the guy you're dating iss worth it than he will understand, and if he is sansitive than you can even talk to him about it, Good luck.
