Day Care Worries

So I have people to watch him for a little while when I go back to work but, it looks like until I have my next child I have to put my son in day care. Money would be super tight otherwise. I found this academy place by my house that is wonderful. Great people, loving environment, great location but, expensive. I just know when I drop him off there my first day of work I'm going to be sobbing the whole drive in and probably the whole day. I need some support ladies that this is going to be okay and that I'm making a good choice.

You probably will cry when you drop him off, but that's okay, you're a mommy. I cried when I left my son at daycare the first time. He was 10 weeks old when I had to go back to work. It will get easier, especially since you found such a great day care for him. Just stay as involved as you can. My son's daycare gives me a report sheet at the end of every day that has when and how much he ate, diaper changes, nap times, and anything else I may need to know about his day. I feel like that really helps me to stay in tune with my son. I love picking him up from daycare now; he's 10 months old and when he sees me walk in, his face just lights up and he crawls over to get picked up. He's got a couple of favorite daycare workers, so I know he's settled in and well taken care of. It's hard to go back to work, but you do what you have to do to take care of your family. Good luck!
