Day time napping issues

My little girl is now seven months old. For a while there she was doing really well with her naps during the day. She would do around an hour in the morning and any where between 2 and 2 and half hours in the afternoon. However recently she will only do 45 minutes at a time, i have tried leaving her for a little bit when she wakes to see if she will go back to sleep but she never does. I generally wouldn't mind but she is waking up still tired and irritable, has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do?

My baby has always been a good sleeper and she went through it too. I started slightly adjusting her naps after that. I would keep her awake as long as she could stand it by entertaining her. Mostly all i have to do is take her outside and she's wide awake. When she finally HAD to crash her naps became longer again. Then she started taking a short morning nap and a longer one in the afternoons. I've had to adjust again after she turned one year, to just one really long afternoon nap. I've also always had a bear in her bed that's become her best buddy. I sometimes would leave her in the crib to babble with her 'baby' for 15-20 minutes and she would fall asleep on her own. She had a month where she liked to wake up at 4am and talk to her baby for 20-30 minutes before falling back asleep. Thank goodness she never really needed my assistance those times. :)

I am going through the same thing right now, my daughter is 6 1/2 months old and all of a sudden does not want to nap anymore, which makes her so crabby and irritable. She was a very good napper taking 3 hour to two hour naps a day. Now i'm lucky if i get two half hour ones. She is starting to get a tooth so i'm hoping thats what it is. Is that a possibility for you? Right now i have no idea what to do, i'm trying to reconfigure our daily schedule, but its very frustrating!

She is awake for about 2 hours between each nap and she goes to bed between 6.30 and seven

How long is she awake in between her naps and what time does she go to bed?
