I have recently started back at work 3 days a week and have to drop my 7 month old daughter off at daycare at 9.30am. She normally goes down for her first nap at 9am so this completely disrupts her nap schedule. She is a really nosey baby so will not finish off her nap once we get there either, so then becomes over tired and a grumpy baby all day and her routine gets all out of joint! Any ideas how to get around this??

I agree with Megan. Let her adjust to daycare, At my house I have one extra little boy thru the week that I watch and I have built a nap into their day at noon. I bet your daycare does the same. Once she starts a regular nap schedule there, try to continue it at home on the weekends. Before you know it, she will be napping beautifully, just at a different time of the day. good luck.

Give her some time to adjust to going to daycare. It is still a new place and she wants to know everything that is going on. My son used to do the same thing when he first started going to daycare, now he just sleeps through the drop off or goes right back to sleep when i leave...i know it takes a lot out of you to deal with a overtired baby, good luck!!!
