I use browned flour for my kids diaper rash yes it sounds crazy i know but it really works. I've always had trouble using anything else. What u do is take an iron skillet and put some flour in it, brown it slowly (til its brown) then just use it like powder. It really works!!

My daughters used to get so bad she would blister! Vasoline and corn starch worked and so did butt paste.

my daughter had diarrhoea for 9 days and as a result got a really bad nappy rash we used a cream called bepantham with petroleum jelly over as a barrier not sure which country ur in and if they sell it but it worked for belle we use it now for teething bottom rash!! try and allow as much air to the babies bottom as you can, although it can be very messy!! lol

I used cornstarch...you can buy it in the baking section almost anywhere. Thats all I ever used on my babies and diaper rash went away and never came back. Didnt use any products for diaper rash after I found cornstarch!

my daughter started having really bad diaper rash when she started sleeping thru the night... i talked to my doctor and she said diaper rash can happen in min cuz of the humidity outside. she told me to use vasaleene (sp?) so help with that. and i use baby powder. it went away very quickly.

My daughter also suffered from nappy, i was told by my peaditrician that when i change her i should let her bum get air to breathe and not rush to put the diaper back on. for the rashes she has had i was referred to Maizena, mylocort, the bennetts bum cream and an anti fungal cream that the pharmacy mixes up.

The diarrhea doesn't make it easy as it just aggrevates the rash.

Good luck and hope the advice works.

When my son had Rotovirus, he had a terrible diaper rash from the diarrhea. The doctor told me to get malox tablets and crush them up and mix it with desitin. It was a miracle worker for me. I am not sure of the ratio but I think you need about 1-2 tablets to about two tablespoons of desitin. Just make sure it isn't too rough. Hope this helps.
