Hi everyone! I am new to the board and I have 1 daughter. Her name is Malina Jade, and she's almost 8 months. As a new mom, I have tried every diaper out there as I'm sure you have all done as well. I am looking for a really good diaper for "overnight". I bought the Overnight Huggies, but I am not convinced on these yet. I feel they are more expensive than the regular huggies, but they seem stiff. Also, they don't seem to pull the wetness away from her skin any better. My little girl has only pooped in her diaper maybe twice overnight so we're talking a lot of pee. I need a good strong diaper that will keep her somewhat comfortable for about a 9 hour stretch. She sleeps wonderfully overnight now and I want to make sure she is most comfortable and dry during those hours!! She is a heavy wetter, so any and all opinions would be great! Thanks mommies!

I have a 2 year old son and a 1 year old daughter and they are both heavy wetters. They sleep about 10 - 12 hours a night and in the morning their diapers are soaked but it is away from their skin. Both of my children are very sensitive and we have tried almost all major brands of diapers in order to prevent diaper rash and we have found that the pampers cruisers are the best. They have a weaved inner lining that pulls moisture away for the baby bottom and we live by them.

My son would always leak at night so I used huggies and put in a extra pad you can buy ones to put in nappy's (not girl monthly ones) you can get them in coles with the nappies

I have got to say that for comfort and absorbancy- get some cloth diapers (not the old fashioned pins and plastic pants kind) I use Happy Heiny's One Size Diapers! http://www.happyheinystore.com/ - They are an investment and and a little more work - but will be so much better for your baby!

I really love the pampers baby dry diapers, they work awesome for overnight ( my son sleeps 10-11hrs) and I use vaseline on his bottom at night and he has never had a diaper rash ( just 9mo old). Huggies were good too, but with the Pampers you get more for the same price, plus they smell like baby powder so you I can tell when he goes pee right away....good luck!!

We've used Target brand diapers during the day for a while now and I was using Luvs at night. Now it appears that my daughter isn't wetting as much at night so we're going to try the Target diapers at night, too. So far, so good. I'm a huge fan of store brands- great quality for half the price!

I use cloth diapers. My son is five months old and he will generally wake up dry after sleeping through the night. I'm looking forward to potty training because of this. He will always go within 15 minutes of waking, so I'll be able to sit him immediately on the pot once he can sit up on his own. :)

my boy has to have his sippy cup of water every night to go to sleep. Bed wetting used to be a big problem. I take a cloth diaper and put it inside any disposable diaper. He doesnt get diaper rash. I've been doing it for a while because money is tight and those overnight diapers really are expensive. In the morning when he wakes up I take the cloth diapers and rinse them out well in a bucket with some soap and flush the used water. It's not fun cleaning poopy diapers by hand but they work and it saves on money. It's great for long trips too.

Hi. I've always used Huggies. Not the overnight kind just the regular kind. My daughter is a very heavy wetter too so I bought a diaper cover at walmart and put that on her over night and it keeps her pj's dry. I don't know where you live but I know that as good as I've heard the Luvs are, unfortunately we can't get them here in Canada anymore:(

my daughter is going to be 8 months next week. we were using huggies too and alexis is a heavy wetter overnight too. (she sleeps about 11 hours most nights) but we just started buying the kirkland brand from Costco (also available on Costco.com) they are a great price and keep her nice and dry till morning even when the diaper weighs 5 lbs! using the desitin or anyother "bum" cream i would think is a good idea too. but i would be sure that her skin is very dry before putting on the cream as it would hold in any wettness that is there and cause a rash. good luck!!

Hi! I am a new mother of a four month old boy.  My baby has been wearing the Pampers Swaddlers since he was born but now that he sleeps through the night (12 hours ) his diaper is completely soaked by morning and goes through his mattress!  We liked Swaddlers because they were soft and smelled good but now I think I might have bought the diapers for the wrong reasons.  Are there any diapers out there that would be good for just overnight use??

I love Luvs! Its true what they say... "you live, your learn then you get Luvs".

I tried every brand out there and my second runner up is Pampers. I've never had any problems with Luvs.

Oh and as for pulling the wetness away from her skin...I'm not sure nay diaper will do that when worn overnight...I just put some vaseline on her bum with her bedtime diaper to protect her skin from the wetness.

I don't really know what else to suggest for you! I just use Huggies Natural Fit and my daughter wears them for about 11 hours overnight. Her diaper is very wet and heavy In the mornings but I've never had a problem with one leaking.
