my little girl is three months old and I wanted to start using the tooth and gum cleanser on her because she sometimes gets bad breath from all the milk I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with it?

I started using it on my daughter. It says on there that it is for babies 4 months and up. And it is ok if they swallow the get cos it is floride free. My daughter loves the gum cleaning sessions. She thinks its funny to clean her mouth.

the box says not to use on a baby under 4 months.... what i would suggest is using a damp wash cloth over the tip of your finger just until your baby is at least 4 months. i used it with my daughter from about 5 months on. when she got 4 teeth i started to brush them (at 9 months). shes 2 now and is a religous brusher.

I do! My daughter loves it. She will try brushing her own teeth with it. I started using it around 10 months, around the time she got her first teeth, but it's good to use it earlier. Keep germs from building up. If your baby is in daycare, it'll probably help protect against thrush as well.

I used it with the little finger brush until my daughter kept biting me when I did it so now she brushes her own teeth with her tinker bell toothbrush. I also started using it for bad breath (my daughter was older though probably 6 or 9 months). It works and it keeps the gums clean from bacteria.

my daughter has used the orajel baby tooth and gum cleanser since 4mos. now that shes 8mos and has teeth she loves when i rub her little teething gums w it. shes never seemed to dislike it and its #1 doc recommended so i dont see why not. makes her breath smell fruity as well!

I started using on when my daughter was a newborn. It helps keep her gums healthy and she also liked to to chew and suck on it. I didn't use the gum cleaner until she got her first tooth.

Our little girl is 10 months and we have been using the tooth and gum cleaner since she was about 3 months old. Now she is so used to it and she likes to brush them. I'm hoping this creates good habits for when we start using a real tooth brush.

Both of my boys (going to be 2 and 1 on June 26th) got their first tooth around four months. So I use the finger toothbrush thingy and tooth and gum cleanser on them both. They both like to brush their own teeth after I have brushed them first. There is nothing wrong in using the tooth and gum cleanser at your daughter's age. I also find it helps when they are teething to brush the gum's. =)

Hey I use the infant toothbrush, but not the cleanser. I used it on my oldest son and he tries eating the toothpaste all the time and I have a hard time having him spitting it out. I have read that as long as you brush their teeth you dont really need cleaner. I hope this helps!

Yes I have...well actaully not the bad breath. I used the tooth and gum cleanser on both of my children. My oldest did not get her first tooth until she was 13months old. My son will be 10 months on the 11th and I use it on him. They say its good to keep the gums clean so that they don't get a build up on the gums. I use the little finger brush on my kids, typically it comes with the gum cleanser. I also use the same thing when I am putting orajel on my sons gums. If you are worried at all...I always go to my pediatrician. =0)

Yes, I used it with my son and I am glad I did. It made it easier to brush his teeth with a toothbrush when the time came. I think now is a perfect time to start using it. Plus it feels good when they start teething :o)
